VZ500L
Sodick offers the VZ series a wire EDM as an entry model Range. The VZ machine range, regardless of their entry prices, are equipped with linear motors and a 10-year accuracy guarantee as standard. The machines achieve outstanding levels of accuracy and cutting speeds, comparable to High End Sodick EDM models.
Standard features include a large worktank with vertical access door, high performance LN2W generator for optimum speed and surface finish. The result – a versatile, high performance machine capable of a wide variety of applications. The LN2W generator is a standard feature of the VZ500L, working in conjunction with K-SMC, the very latest Sodick Motion Control technology for linear motors, to control axis motion and continually monitor and optimize the spark gap 500 times per second.
