This compact, stand-alone machining centre incorporating all the features which make Sodick a market leader goes on producing high value parts long after the workforce has left for home.

Linear motor technology

Sodick’s proven linear motor technology moves the worktable directly, smoothly and simultaneously without any loss of momentum.

Fast positioning

High precision at high speed is assured by the integration of the Sodick motion controller (K-SMC) developed specifically for use with linear motor drives.

High rigidity for high precision

Machine castings are generously reinforced with ribs to provide the rigidity and stability necessary for high accuracy machining.

Easy to operate

The familiar, PC-like design of the NC control touch panel, ensures ease of operation, and also includes Sodick’s own Enhanced Precision Technology (SEPT) with its extensive ‘look-ahead’ facility.

High-Speed spindle with HF motor

The high-speed spindle is driven directly by an integrated HF motor to ensure maximised response to programme commands.
