Sodick Presents Micro Technology at Technifutur

Sodick was invited to speak at the Micro Technology seminar held at Technifutur, Belgium. More than 50 guests witnessed the latest applications/ technologies and high-end demonstration by Sodick.

Technifutur, the vocational school in Belgium, held a Seminar of Micro Technology on 28.4.2011. Sodick delivered the super-high-precision sinker EDM “AP1L” to Technifutur back in 2006, and since then a strong relationship between Technifutur and Sodick has been established.

Jan van Egmond, the president of Sodick Europe Ltd. explains “the target application of this sort of work would be mainly medical and aerospace; some of our customers in Europe are actually already working in these fields.” Johan Tanghe, responsible for Sodick sales in Belgium continues “the strength of Sodick machine is not only the high-accuracy, but also the high-repeatability; the machine is so reliable that customers can expect the same result all the time.”

Jan van Egmond reviews the day. “I believe it was a successful day to introduce Sodick to all the participants. I believe this will strengthen the relationship with Technifutur. We will continue the support to the customer from in every aspect.”

The AP3L with longer axes strokes and bigger work-tank is also now available in the Sodick AP Sink EDM range.
