Sodick launch a new compact Wire EDM Range

Sodick Europe is thrilled to announce the new compact AQ400L and AQ600L Wire EDM range. These machines are new models to Sodick's comprehensive range of Wire Cut EDM Machines in the European Market.
The heritage of the new AQ 400L/600L machines are the Top-Selling AQ360L/560L range with over 9,000 installations around the world, consequently the high expectations of our customers are certain to be achieved within an attractive price.
The intelligent compact design with reduced floor-space requirement benefits further from a highly rigid cast iron construction. The machines are equipped with a class leading specification including many of Sodick's innovative In-House products: Linear Motors Drives, Ceramics for the critical components ensuring outstanding thermal stability and accuracy, a new super efficient FJAWT (Automatic wire feeder), LN2W Control System and a powerful Generator with Electrolysis Free Circuitry as standard.
Sodick's philosophy of utilising only premium components is endorsed by use of Absolute Measuring Optical Glass Scales on all Linear Motor driven axes (X, Y,U & V) and highest quality Linear Guide-ways. The specification can be enhanced with a number of productive options including Super Pika-W making possible exceptional surface finishes or the LN20W 8-Axis Control for multi-axis machining when used in conjunction with a rotary table. A comprehensive range of auxiliary equipment is available to increase efficiency including larger Wire Bobbin capacity (Jumbo Feeder) and the L-Cut Wire Chopper for easier disposal of the used wire.
